Our Ragged Life Square Rug is 120cm x 120cm and made of hemmed hessian (i.e. stitched and secured) on each edge to make rag rugging a doddle. No need to faff around on a sewing machine with this hessian :)
To make your rug, you simply fill the hemmed hessian in the rag rug technique of your choice (shaggy, short shaggy or loopy) and you're done! That's just how easy it is.
We even include a "Rag Rug Instructions" Booklet with every purchase which includes practical and design tips for making your project.

Our Ragged Life hessian is a medium weave (10 holes per inch / 10 HPI), making it perfect for beginners and seasoned rag ruggers alike. Use it with a spring tool, traditional rug hook or locker hook - the choice is yours! You can sketch designs onto the hessian using a permanent marker pen and any mistakes will be easily covered by the rag rugging in the end, so don't panic if you go wrong.
